We've Found a Treasure

And we are willing to share. But not able just yet. What we can say is. . .

WE GOT A CALL!

On Monday night at 11 pm we received a phone call from our agency saying that they had a baby girl for us to consider.

An eight-month-old baby girl!

Her picture and information about her appeared in our email a short while later.

I prayed that she would not be a stranger to us upon sight, and He gave us that peace. To us, she seemed immediately our baby. (I feel compelled here to add that of course we weren't focused on this first sight of her as a deciding factor, but I was very glad that she seemed familiar, in an odd way, to us from the start.)

We filled out our official "Referral Acceptance" - our, "Please, Yes, We want her in our family" paperwork - and it went to China Wednesday.

So hopefully we will hear from China an official "Yes" to our "Yes" in a few weeks.

And then we can share her picture here and have a public celebration of the newest Bullington. Our Pearl.

Wait and Watch and Wait and Watch

We have been waiting mostly patiently.

Waiting on our girl.

Our first child in mind (since summer of '04!)

who will be our third child in fact.

And now there is hope.

That she may be seen soon.

And we may have her home.

THIS SPRING or SUMMER!
